The American Quarter Horse Association has an exciting line-up of events planned for 2018. Mark your calendars today with these tentative dates.
- March 2-5 – 2018 AQHA Convention at the Hyatt Regency Riverfront, Jacksonville, Florida
- March 14-16 – AQHA Cowboy Mounted Shooting World Championships, Houston
- June 13-17 – Zoetis AQHA Versatility Ranch Horse World Championships and Zoetis AQHA Ranching Heritage Challenge Finals, Lazy E Ranch, Guthrie, Oklahoma
- August 2-11 – Built Ford Tough AQHYA World Championship Show, Oklahoma City
- August 24 - September 1 – AQHA Select World Championship Show, presented by Adequan® (polysulfated glycosaminoglycan), Amarillo
- November 1-17 – Lucas Oil AQHA World Championship Show, Oklahoma City
- June 2 – Heritage Place Futurity (G1) and Derby (G3), Remington Park Invitational Championship (G1) at Remington Park, Oklahoma City
- July 27-28 – Texas Quarter Horse Association Yearling Sale, San Antonio
- September 1-3 – Ruidoso Select Yearling Sale, All American Futurity, All American Derby and All American Gold Cup, Ruidoso Downs, Ruidoso, New Mexico
- September 20-22 – Heritage Place Yearling Sale, Oklahoma City
- October 6-7 – Los Alamitos Equine Sale, Los Alamitos Race Course, Cypress, California
- November 15-17 – Bank of America Racing Challenge Championships and AQHA Racing Conference, Los Alamitos Race Course, Cypress, California
- December 9 – Champion of Champions and Los Alamitos Two Million Futurity at Los Alamitos Race Course in Cypress, California
- April 10-14 – AQHA Central Level 1 Championships, State Fair Park, Oklahoma City
- April 18-22 – AQHA West Level 1 Championships, South Point Equestrian Center, Las Vegas
- May 2-6 – Nutrena East AQHA Level 1 Championships, World Equestrian Center, Wilmington, Ohio
- June 13-17 – AQHA Level 1 Cattle Championships, held in conjunction with the Zoetis VRH World, Lazy E Arena, Guthrie, Oklahoma
2018 AQHA Regional Championships
- June 1-3 – Region Nine, Jackson, Mississippi
- June 27 – Region Five, Logan Township, New Jersey
- July 20-22 – Region Six, Springfield, Massachusetts
- August 10-12 – Region One, Monroe, Washington
- September 20-23 – Region Two, Rapid City, South Dakota
