The tentative schedule for the 2020 Built Ford Tough AQHYA World Championship Show is now available online. View the tentative schedule here. The schedule includes Level 3, Adequan® Level 2 and 13-&-Under Level 3 core classes, plus the addition of Nutrena Level 1 youth classes, which were added to the Ford Youth World because the 2020 Nutrena AQHA Level 1 Championships and AQHA Cattle Level 1 Championships were cancelled.
Due to the rapidly evolving pandemic worldwide, the AQHA Executive Committee waived qualification for the 2020 Ford Youth World earlier this spring. The Ford Youth World is scheduled for July 29 - August 8 at the OKC Fairgrounds in Oklahoma City and features the world’s top youth riders and their American Quarter Horses. The Ford Youth World will be held, pending local, state and federal government mandates.
The safety of AQHA exhibitors, trainers, families, spectators and staff is the Association’s top priority. AQHA staff will continue to monitor coronavirus (COVID-19) developments leading up to the 2020 Ford Youth World. The Association will be in direct contact with exhibitors if any changes are made to this show. Visit www.aqha.com/youthworld for the most up-to-date information on the Ford Youth World.
Entry information will be released in early June. The entry process for the 2020 Ford Youth World will remain with the youth advisers, as it has been in previous years. AQHYA exhibitors interested in competing at the Ford Youth World will continue to work through their respective adviser to enter and must meet affiliate requirements to compete. View the list of affiliate youth advisers. Contact your youth adviser for more details on the Ford Youth World requirements and newly added online entry options.
Youth exhibitors entering only Nutrena Level 1 classes will not be required to work through a youth adviser. Nutrena Level 1-specific entry forms will also be available in early June at www.aqha.com/youthworld.
