2019 OQHA Queen - Alexis Taylor
Alexis is a 22-year-old graduate from Stautzenberger College with a degree in Veterinary Technology. She is currently employed as a Research Technician at Charles River Laboratories, where she plays a part in life saving medical advances daily. Alexis grew up on the back of quarter horses and has been riding since before she could walk, passed from one parent to the next in between western classes. Alexis has two Appendix Quarter horses Ain’t Life Sweet, and Forgot My Coat, who she enjoys showing in the All Around Hunter events. The Ohio Quarter Horse Association has been and continues to be a focal point in her life. A big thank you to OQHA for the opportunity to be a representative to the organization that has impacted her in so many ways. Being a Queen is so much more than a crown and a sash, it’s the opportunity to spread knowledge about the association and the means to make a difference. Alexis is looking forward to a year of memories she will never forget.
