The event totals are in – these were the top AQHA shows and circuits in 2017. American Quarter Horse Association, February 25, 2018 From early spring in Oklahoma City to the tail end of the year in Florida, AQHA members turned out in droves to support shows and circuits across the United States. Combined, the Top-10 AQHA shows saw an increase from the previous year, totaling 97,065 entries in 2017. The American Quarter Horse Association, January 31, 20178 AQHA walk-trot classes at the AQHA Level 1 Championships will offer newcomers a chance to compete at one of three championship shows. AQHA walk-trot classes are making their debut at the 2018 AQHA  West , AQHA  Central  and  Nutrena East  Level 1 Championships this spring.  Walk-trot classes are the perfect way for eligible exhibitors to get in the arena and gain experience, which goes hand-in-hand with the purpose of the Level 1 Championships.  Also new this year, there are no qualifying requirements to show at the  AQHA Level 1 Championships . OAQHA Pancake Breakfast Fundraiser

The Ohio Amateur Quarter Horse Association (OAQHA) flipped pancakes for a cause Saturday morning. The group raised $1000 during its annual All American Quarter Horse Congress Pancake Fundraiser in the Voinovich Building. More than 430 people participated in the fundraiser by dining in, carrying out or having breakfast delivered by OAQHA members preparing the all you can eat breakfast. Ohio Quarter Horse Association Executive Director Dr. Scott Myers, President Chris Darnell and Tri-Chairman Elizabeth Gorski all made guest appearances throughout the morning. OAQHA President Justin Billings flipped pancakes for guests and cleared tables while answering questions about showing AQHA. From the money
