OMIQHA Spring Warm Up Show Recap

After 3 years of having Youth and Amateur classes only, OMIQHA was able to obtain a full complete showbill for our first show of the year. We had an awesome first show of the year despite lower that normal stall sales, but those that came really came to show with just about a thousand entries for the weekend.

We had alot of new individuals showing at this show, we had a couple groups come down from New York state and several from Michigan, a few from Indiana, Pennsylvania, and from all corners of Ohio.  I want to thank all those that make our show what it is, we had a great arena crew, announcer, and show office crew.

With our first show at a new facility and date for us, this gave us a few growing pains, but we overcame them and moved on to finish at 10:00 pm on Saturday, and 7:00 pm on Sunday.

We held our first Prince and Princess contest. We had 6 princess and one prince contestants, the winners were Zoe Arnold and Statten Henry, they are both pictured with our queen Kalee Lohr.

We look forward to our next show June 13-14 at Springfield, with no other shows in the Tri-State area we are anticipating a sell out, with that I’d advise getting stall / camping reservations in sooner than later, Trainers, please send along a trainers tab form with stall reservation payment.
